Just a quick update on our volunteering position, unfortunately we have not received anyone interested at this point. So we are going to use our new technology (Swimtopia) to help us out instead. At sign ups I know we asked for 3 volunteer signup slots, but we are realizing that that was when we had a team of 150-175 kids, our West team is much smaller at this time.

When you login into the Swimtopia app you will now see all your volunteer shifts based on the specific date you signed up for. It is pretty awesome and took a few minutes to assign. With that being said, just like last year you will have to declare that your son or daughter are attending a meet 48 hours ahead of time. This allows our coaches to start creating the lineup and allows for you to become eligible to be assigned a shift (volunteer position) that is not covered yet. When you declare your swimmer you can now choose a job/shift for the meet. You can see all that are opened and can click the one you want to take.

24 hours before the meet any unfilled shifts will be filled with random parents who have a child attending the meet. Unfortunately, with no one taking this position this will work for our needs. Again, you can go in and sign up for any meet and any open job at this time. Thanks everyone.
